Glow uses your profile details, routine activity, subscription state, and the photos you choose for analysis to deliver visible-skin insights, personalized care support, and progress history. This summary explains what Glow collects, why it is used, which service providers process it, and how you can delete your data.
1. Data We Collect
Depending on how you use Glow, we may store your name, age, skin type, Apple account linkage details, subscription state, routine check-ins, analysis history, and the photos you explicitly choose or capture for analysis. We also keep limited technical records such as session tokens and service logs needed to keep the app secure and working.
2. How Glow Uses Data
We use your data to create and secure your account, run image analysis, generate personalized routines, show progress over time, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and support customer issues. Glow does not sell your personal data and does not use your photos or profile for third-party advertising.
3. AI and Service Providers
When you start an analysis, Glow sends the selected photo and the minimum relevant profile context through our backend to third-party providers that help operate the service. Today this includes Convex for backend infrastructure, Google Gemini for analysis generation, RevenueCat for subscription state, and Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store billing. These providers may process data only to deliver or secure Glow's features.
4. Permissions You Control
Camera access is requested only when you choose to capture an analysis photo. If you prefer to use an existing image, the iOS photo picker lets you choose one without giving Glow full photo library access. Notifications are optional and used for routine reminders. You can decline permissions, change them later in Settings, sign out, or continue using non-dependent parts of the app without enabling optional access.
5. Storage and Retention
Glow keeps your account data, routine history, and analysis results while your account remains active so your experience can sync across sessions and devices. If you delete your account from Profile > Delete Account, Glow removes your user record, analyses, daily logs, and active sessions from our backend. Some billing records may still be retained by Apple or RevenueCat where required for tax, fraud-prevention, or subscription support purposes.
6. Security and Sharing
We use reasonable safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest, and we limit access to service providers that need it to operate Glow. Glow does not run third-party advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not share analysis photos for unrelated marketing use.
7. Children
Glow is not built for the Kids Category and is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Glow, delete the account from inside the app and use the support channel published for Glow so we can review the request.
8. Your Choices
You can review this policy at any time from Profile or the paywall, delete your account inside the app, restore purchases through Apple's billing flow, and withdraw optional permissions such as camera and notifications from iOS Settings. If you need a manual privacy request beyond in-app deletion, use the support contact or support page published with Glow.
